Mt. Batolusong's trail is perfect for a beginner's hike. This beauty offer vast views of Batanes-like grassland slopes, and on rare seasons, you may get lucky and witness a sea of clouds during sunrise.

🚘HOW TO GET THERE

From Aurora blvd., Marcos Highway, Cubao, or Marikina
  • Take a jeepney bound to Cogeo, Antipolo
  • Jeepney terminals are available in the following areas:
    • Sta. Lucia East Grandmall
    • Robinson’s Metroeast
  • Travel time: Approx. 1.5-2 hours
  • Take another jeep to Brgy. Sampaloc. 
  • From there, you can rent a habal-habal for Php50 one way to get to the Brgy. San Andres for the registration and local guides

1-2 hours but it depends on your pace

2-3/10. Mt. Batolusong is perfect for beginners

πŸ“ŒATTIREWear something that you would be comfortable to move with. For me, I am most comfortable wearing a sleeveless top and a pair leggings. I also brought an extra windbreaker jacket since I was anticipating for a hot weather. Wear as much sunblock!

πŸ“ŒSHOES- Hiking sandals or rubber shoes may do. But for me, I recommend to wear rubber shoes since some parts of the hike requires to climb on rocks.

πŸ“Œ BAGS AND THINGS- Pack lightly and bring light snacks that you can munch on during stopovers

πŸ“Œ WATER- Bring lots of water! It's a 2 hour ascend to the summit and another 2 hours descending the mountain. Make sure to bring enough to stay hydrated.
