The Lake Hotel at Tagaytay City

Looking for quick getaway from the city noise? A 2 hour escapade from the metro will be your your quick fix. For my 25th birthday, I wanted to take break from all the studying and simply relax. Tagaytay has always been my go-to place since it has a relaxing ambiance and I love the cool breeze of this city. Besides its close proximity from manila, it is very accessible to different modes of transportation as well.

📍LOCATION

The Lake Hotel is a charming hotel located along Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway. It is 3 storey building with an infinity pool facing the stunning view of the Taal Volcano. It is situated near The Cliffhouse Tagaytay where you can find various restaurants, pasalubong stores, and cafes. Talk about accessible right? What I love most about this hotel is that it is very much affordable, and the ambiance is amazing. You really get your money's worth.

🍴DINNER AT BUON GIORNO CAFE AND BISTRO

We actually walked going to the restaurant since the Cliffhouse Tagaytay was just nearby. Buon Giorno offers Italian cuisine which was perfect for our cravings. Just had a simple dinner to celebrate my birthday.

🌊MORNING SWIM

Before leaving the hotel, we decided to take a quick dip and gaze at the view of Taal volcano. We got lucky and had the pool all to ourselves. 

☕BRUNCH AT CHARITO BAG OF BEANS

Upon check out, we headed at Bag of Beans to get our coffee and pancake fix. Again, it was just nearby so we walked again and got to feel the morning breeze of Tagaytay.

It was indeed a memorable and relaxing weekend. If you're looking for a budget friendly hotel, I would definitely recommend The Lake Hotel.
